Micron Software Engineer Job Description

As a member of the Micron Engineering Services team, you will have a crucial role in enabling the success of Micron engineering and product teams. Your team’s charter in Hyderabad will be to:

#1. Help Micron engineering teams migrate to new Jenkins Pipeline based release/test/release mechanisms.

#2. Further, enhance our Jenkins Pipeline Shared Library to accelerate the migration away from older Jenkins freestyle jobs.

#3. Modernize development process reporting capabilities (for example, Jira reporting in Tableau).

#4. Develop tool regression testing capabilities that accelerate value delivery and reduce the risk for upgrades and other changes.

#5. Provide user support for our entire tool-chain

Skills required For Micron Hyderabad Fresher Walkins

#1. Shell scripting and Linux/Windows OS familiarity.

#2. Knowledge of Python programming or similar language(s).

#3. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

#4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

Preferred Skills:

#1. Familiarity with debugging complex web-application problems (browser, web-application, database, OS, network).

#2. Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
