Every year many candidates enter job search. It gets very difficult to get identified in a crowd. The most difficult problem for a fresher is to become visible. If you didn’t pass out of a top-notch college or do not have a very impressive profile, getting selected can become more difficult.

AMCAT and employability tests give you a second chance. If you score high in these tests, you have an opportunity to get level with others. This will make your off-campus job search easier for you.

It has seven modules that not only give you a scorecard. They also give a detailed report that lets you know the best possible career path for you. It will identify your strengths and areas you need to work at.

What is AMCAT?

AMCAT is a test with seven modules that last for about three hours. An interested candidate can take the test and apply to various companies, which include MNCs, through AMCAT’s website. Most companies will contact you directly by purchasing the database.

This improves your chances of getting an interview according to your performance. Elitmus and Joblana are other trending tests in India which operate in a similar fashion.

The test is an adaptive test. If you answer a question correctly, the next question will get harder. Otherwise, the next question will be easier. Harder questions will get you a higher score and easier questions, mistakes will automatically reduce your score. There is negative marking as well.

This is not just an adaptive test. It is also a speed test. If you answer the answers quickly, the next question will be tougher giving you higher marks. So the fastness of your response also matters. It can improve or decrease your score.
