Sterlite Technologies Roles & Responsibility
- Quality & Analysis functions including version release, QA processes, Team mentoring & management.
- Responsible for developing test plans and test cases and execution of those plans against client based consumer security technologies.
- Elaborate the test plans for various products and projects
- Execution and follow-up on the tests plans
- Testing of features/functionality of Network Access Controller and Network Billing Solutions
- Test Case & Test Scope Doc Preparation & review
- Setup the Client (ISPs) Network Environment in the local lab for Testing and troubleshooting.
- SPOC for the development team and deliver technical network solution with troubleshooting.
- Support Enterprise customers for any technical issues.
- Identify, escalate bugs and provide appropriate implementations/techniques in the products.
- LAN/WAN Network Monitoring, Configuration & Troubleshooting.
- As a SPOC managing the task assigned to the Team, plan the estimation for new release & critical issues.
- UAT assistance to Client
- Client review and walkthrough
- Review Test deployment plans
- Deployments
- Investigate potential defects and discuss them with developers
- Logged defects during the test execution phase
- Should have good exposure in database testing and performance testing
- Report test results to the project manager
- Develop test coverage matrices to maximize testing efficiency. Use optimization techniques to minimize the number of test cases and time effort while maximizing test coverage. Act as a technical expert in at least one area of system testing on assigned projects. Isolate cause of defects and drive the resolution of important errors.
- Create QA status report for assigned projects as required.
- Participate in business requirements review sessions with the peers and business users
- Act as a subject expert in the functionality assigned to the project.
