AP NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme 2017-2018 | Login, Online Application Form: Government of Andhra Pradesh has introduced a new scheme “NTR Vidyonnathi” for providing Professional Guidance (9 Months) for Civil Services Examinations for the candidates of Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare, B.C. Welfare, Minorities Welfare, Kapu Corporation, Brahmin Corporation and EBC Corporation. Candidates can check complete details through official website i.e. apcivilscoaching.aponline.gov.in. Job aspirants who are interested can apply through online by submitting an Online Application Form at apcivilscoaching.aponline.gov.in. After submitting the Online Application Form, aspirants need to Login and check the Certificate Verification and Counselling Dates. In the past, only SC, ST and minority students have given the free coaching for UPSC Civils exam. Now the State Government had extended the scheme to all BC, Kapu and other Economically Backward Class students in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Students who are from economically poor families can utilize this scheme and crack the UPSC Civil Services exam. 

AP NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme 2017-2018

Civil Services job is a dream for many students. But many poor students, especially for SC, ST and minorities are unable to invest money and time to study for Civil services exam. Even though they have talent they are unable to study. To overcome this and help poor students from all categories, the State Government had introduced this scheme. In this scheme once the Institute is enroll then students sponsored fees will be paid in two installments. First installment will be paid after the students report for coaching and second installment will be paid at the end of the course. The institutes shall need to send monthly attendance reports to the director, Ap Study Circle. Second installment will be paid only for those candidates who have put in at least 90% attendance.

Objective of AP NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme

The main objective of NTR Vidyonnati Scheme is to ensure SC, ST, Minorities and other economically backward class students reach the higher level of administration. It is also observed that the students from economically poor families have not been fairing well in the Civil Services Exam, especially during the last 6 to 8 years. Government, after close study on the practices followed in other states, hereby decides to sanction the new scheme “NTR Vidyonnathi” for providing Professional Guidance for Civil Services Examination for all students from the economically poor families along with SC, ST students. The guidelines, mode of selection and other details of the scheme are hereby appended below.

AP NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 37 years on the 1st of August, 2017. In case of disabled candidates (VH/HH/OH), upper age limit is 42 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed any degree course from a recognized educational institute or university.
Income ceiling: Annual family income shall not exceed Rs.6.00 lakhs.

How To Apply For AP NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme

Aspirants need to apply for this scheme by submitting an online application form in the apcivilscoaching.aponline.gov.in. Before applying aspirants need to check their eligibility. Latter candidates need to participate in an entrance exam conducted to shortlisted merit candidates. Now the shortlisted candidates will be enrolled into the scheme.

Selection and Allotment of Students

An advertisement will be issued in prominent Telugu News Paper and also placed in the department website, calling for applications from the eligible SC, ST, BC and EBC students whose annual family income is less than the prescribed income. Students should have passed any degree course. An entrance examination will be conducted to select the meritorious candidates. At least 33% of the seats will be allotted for the women for Prelims cum Mains programme and 3% seats of the seats will be allotted to the disabled candidates as per norms.

Allotment of student to Institutes
The students who are selected through entrance exam will be given the option to select an institution of their choice for admission through counseling, subject to ceiling of seats that may be prescribed institution wise by the committee.

AP NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme Certificate Verification and Counselling

All the provisionally selected SC, ST, BC, EBC candidates under NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme-2017-18 in 13 Districts of A.P., are hereby informed that the certificate verification will be done at various verification centers in AP. Candidates need to attend the verification process along with the following original certificates and 2 sets of photocopies and 3 Passport size photographs. The following Original Certificates are required for counseling.

  • Aadhaar Card.
  • Income Certificate (less than 6.0 lakhs)
  • Caste Certificate issued by competent authority
  • Residence Certificate / Nativity Certificate
  • Study Certificates
  • Ration Card
  • Graduate Degree Marks Memos along with Provisional Certificate/ Original Degree
  • Photo copy of first page of existing savings bank pass book
  • Date of Birth Certificate (SSC/CBSE/ICSE)
  • Disabled Certificate for Disabled candidates
