The Gujarat Public Service Commission has released notification for filling 73 Assistant Engineer Vacancies. Candidates who have applied for this exam are searching for the solved model papers. The Gujarat Public Service Commission has started receiving applications from the interested and the eligible candidates for the post of GPSC AE 2017. The last date for the receiving of the application is on 3rd October 2017. It is announced that the exam will be conducted in the upcoming months, the exact date of the exam will be announced very soon by the GPSC AE exam conducting officials. So, it recommended to all the interested candidates to apply for the exam as soon as possible and also start preparing for the exam with the help of the GPSC AE Previous Papers that are attached at the end of this page.

GPSC AE Exam Pattern

The Gujarat Public Service Commission Assistant Engineer Exam Pattern is in the following procedure
  • There will be a written exam for all the candidates who have applied for the GPSC AE exam. The candidates qualified in the prelims exam will be called for the mains exam
  • The qualified candidates in the written exam will be called for the personal interview within 10 working days after the declaration of the GPSC AE exam result.
  • The written exam will consist of 200 questions (Objective Type) and each question carries one mark.
  • There will be 100 questions from Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, General Knowledge, General English. The remaining 100 questions will be from the basic civil engineering subjects.

GPSC AE Selection Procedure

The candidates who have applied for the GPSC AE Exam will be having the prelims exam. The candidates who have qualified in the prelims exam will be having a mains exam as decided and scheduled by the GPSC AE Exam conducting officials. There will be a personal interview for all the qualified people in the mains exam.
