Position (1): Executive – Customer Service
No. of Positions: 3
Nature of Employment: Permanent
Department: Operations

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for Operations of Service Help Desk which includes management of queries and service requests (SR) from the agent advisors /Gos and the customers
  • Resolve Agent Advisor & Customer queries/SR within the defined Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure adherence to documented processes, procedures and controls
  • Ensure training of Customer Service Executives for products, process & procedures
  • Liaise with other support units in Home Office (such as Operations, Products, Actuaries, Finance, Admin, IT) to ensure that all local queries are resolved
  • Ensure follow up with customers / Agents to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Publish MIS and Dashboards
  • Ensure end to end closure on escalations
  • Passing on feedback to the users at the backend and ensure timely training
  • Ensure no customer request beaches the TAT
  • Coordinating between MLIC and Genpact on various strategic changes
  • Ensure achieving targets on high aging cases

Position (2): Executive – Non-Medical Underwriting

Nature of Employment: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Appraise non-medical risks for life insurance application
  • Using factors such as age, occupation, medical history, financial standing and other relevant conditions that determine insurability
  • Appraise level of risk involved in applications with adverse medical findings
  • Where medical opinion or decision is necessary for acceptance/rejection of insurance coverage
  • Evaluate medical condition and analyse the test results of the applicants
  • Underwrite new and existing business
  • Recommend, accept, reject insurance coverage within limits set in the underwriting policy
  • Deal with some non-standard proposals directly
  • Conduct audits on underwriting files to ensure standards are met
  • Ensure underwriting decisions are communication to Agency and customers in a timely and effective manner.
  • Telecall the customer in case of suspicious profiles.
  • Special Initiatives as warranted by business needs

Position (3): Executive – Policy Owner Service

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Responsible for resolution of POS Requests and Queries within the defined SLAs and Quality Benchmarks
  • End to end service request processing and communication within defined SLAs.
  • Ensure adherence to documented processes, procedures and controls
  • Liaise with other support units in Home Office (such as Operations, Products, Actuaries, Finance, Admin, IT) to ensure customer query and service requests are resolved.
  • Ensure follow up with Branches / Agents to ensure end to end resolution on the cases
  • Adhering to defined TAT for processing customer request.
  • Coordinating between Max Life and Business Partner on WIP handling and closures monitoring.
  • Ensure achieving targets on high aging cases.
  • Ensure team support as and when required

Position (4): Executive – Renewals
No. of Positions: 2
Nature of Employment: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Monitor and supervise inhouse team of Renewal telecallers
  • Ensure achievement of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Collections targets.
  • Resource Management ( training, motivation and attrition control)
  • Ensuring 100% Coverage of Accounts and productivity of telecallers as per Benchmarks.
  • Ensure effective lapse revival (as per target) on lapsed policies.
  • Ensure clearance of Poll Coll
  • Work on retaining policies of recent origin ( < 24months old)
  • Address (internal and external) customer queries within specified TATs and redress customer complaints, monitor and reduce complaints through process improvements.
  • Initiate projects to improve processes and maximise collections.
  • Ensuring Regular MIS

Position (5): Executive – Customer Retention Team

Key Responsibilities:-

  • POS processing

  • Initiate new projects/ process to improve performance
  • Identify process initiatives towards positive impact
