Lok Sabha Secretariat Junior Clerk Exam Pattern

The Lok Sabha Junior Clerk exam will take place in two steps which are prelims and mains exam. The exam is an objective type test. The exam pattern for both the exams will be different, candidates who had qualified in prelims they are eligible to take the mains exam.

Prelims Exam: The preliminary exam consists of question from subjects such as General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English. Generally, the questions will be asked in current affairs for testing the aspirant’s general knowledge of current events. Each subject is for 50 marks and the total exam is for 100 marks.

Mains Exam: The Main Examination consists of two papers. Each paper carries 100 marks and the subjects related to that paper are given below in a tabular format. The Time Duration of the exam is 2 hours 10 Minutes.

Selection Process of Lok Sabha Secretariat Junior Clerk

The Lok Sabha Junior Clerk selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance. So the contenders first need to qualify in the preliminary examination. Contenders who are qualified in prelims with minimum qualifying marks will be allowed to give the Mains Exam. But the mark secured by the aspirants in prelims exam, will not be counted for the final selection list. 
 If the aspirants who will also qualify in mains exams they will be permitted for Finial round i.e. Interview. Those candidates who will be qualifying in all the selection process they will be placed in Lok Sabha.
