HPPSC Exam Pattern

  • The screening test (objective-type / descriptive) conducts two hours duration. Screening Test(s) is/ are primarily meant for short listing candidates for interviews/ personality tests and marks obtained in the Screening Test(s) will not be counted for final selection. No representation(s) shall be entertained in this regard.
  • The Final selection of a candidate will be made solely on the basis of his/ her performance in the interview/ Personality Test, which will be of maximum 100 marks.
  • The minimum pass marks in the interview are 45 for the candidates of general category and 35 marks for the candidates of reserved categories.

HPPSC Selection Process

The selection process will be held according to the rules and regulations of HPPSC. The selection process will be held in two rounds written test and personal interview. The aspirant who will cross the cut-off marks in the written test for that candidate next round personal interview will be conducted by the officials of HPPSC.
