CTS Selection Process:Cognizant Technology Solutions selection process 2016 consists of 3 rounds.
- 1st Round – Aptitude test
- 2nd Round : Technical Interview
- 3rd Round : HR Interview
Cognizant Online Test Pattern:The online Test consists of 3 sections as follows. Cognizant Test conducted by Aspiring Minds is an Adaptive test. In this article we will discuss the process followed by them for recruitment.The first round is an online Aptitude Test.
- Quantitative Ability -25 Questions – 30 minutes
- Verbal Ability - 25 Questions - 20 minutes
- Reasoning - 20 Questions - 20 minutes

Permutation and Combination
In this section there will be 25 Questions to be attempted in 30 minutes.As you can notice there is roughly around 1 minute per question. As it is also an adaptive paper you will not be able to select the easy question in the first and you should go one by one after completing a question. So, you really need to be on your feet to complete the paper. So you need to practice few questions before going for the test.
Some important topics covered in Verbal Ability includes
In this section there will be 25 Questions to be attempted in 20 minutes. The questions will be mostly from the above topics with significant number of questions from Reading comprehension. As there are lot of reading stuff involved in this section, it is a bit of time consuming. Some prior reading practice will help you in clearing this section.
Some important topics covered in Reasoning Ability includes

Coding and Decoding
In this section there will be 20 Questions to be attempted in 20 minutes.Here again you have only one minute per question. So you really need to be quick as reading and understanding the puzzle type question will take some time. Again some sort of practice before the exam will be useful.
